| This was by far the least popular position on the aircraft. It was very cramped and the gunner was forced into a rather uncomfortable position that required he sight down through his feet. In combat, he was cut off from the rest of the crew by a locked hatch that could only be opened from the inside of the aircraft. Unfortunatly I didn't get a good picture of the ball turret from the outside. See picture 20 for the best I have. |
